Advisory Boards

The College of Architecture, Art and Design continues to enjoy excellent support from dedicated professionals through their active and voluntary participation in our advisory boards. The boards support the programs through giving input into and influencing the direction of each program.

Funding Needs

The Advancement Funds within the College of Architecture, Art and Design support many of the needs in the college and its departments. Each department has unique values, goals, and needs for funding, highlighted below:

School of Architecture

The School of Architecture Advancement Fund supports many initiatives, goals and urgent needs within the School of Architecture. It provides a margin of excellence in the school’s efforts, producing an impact on faculty and students that would otherwise be impossible under current state funding.

Connect with a Current Student

We have a student organization for current students who are excited and waiting to connect with you to answer all those questions you just need to hear from someone who has been through it, such as “How did you find a roommate, what can I do now to get ready, what are art classes really like, what residence hall is the best option for me,” etc.

Please fill out form at the link below and we will try to facilitate connecting you with a student.

Alpha Rho Chi (APX)

Alpha Rho Chi is the only national co-ed professional fraternity for architecture and the allied arts. Mississippi State's Hippodamus chapter includes students from architecture, landscape architecture, graphic design, engineering, English, and more. The “Hippos" actively work together to host a series of professional events every spring, fundraising events for their philanthropy throughout the year, brotherhood events for chapter bonding, a White Rose Formal each fall, and a summer retreat for bonding/business.

A Student Organization of

Study Abroad

The College of Architecture, Art, and Design at Mississippi State University believes students in our college need exposure to art, design, construction and culture abroad. We encourage all students to take advantage of opportunities to travel outside of the U.S.
