Specialty Labs

Each of our programs in the college (architecture, art, building construction science, and interior design) has specialty print and large-format plot labs to support students and their needs for projects. The college also has lighting labs for students to study the effects of lighting on spaces as well as to experiment with lighting for photography.

The School of Architecture’s Fifth-Year Program, the Jackson Center—located at 509 East Capitol Street in downtown Jackson, Mississippi—also houses a library for students and faculty.

Facilities

Our hands-on and studio-based programs require unique facilities. Our students have 24/7 access to our buildings and a designated studio workspace.

Our students also have access to a variety of specialized facilities and tools to help them succeed in their studies: three galleries, printing and plotting labs, the Bob and Kathy Luke Library (college-specific material), woodworking shops, metal shops, 3-D printers, a CNC router, lighting labs, and more.
