The photography concentration in Mississippi State's Department of Art is welcoming Canadian artist Amy Friend for the first public lecture in the Contact Visiting Artist Series.
Taking place in Harrison Auditorium at Giles Hall, the lecture is free and open to the public.
An assistant professor in the Department of Visual Arts at Brock University in Niagara, Friend's work has been exhibited in Spain, South Korea, Guatemala, Portugal, Greece, Canada, France, and U.S. states including Indiana and New York.
