Why did you choose CAAD at MSU?

I chose CAAD or, rather, Building Construction Science because as a child, building with LEGOS, Erector sets and scrapwood sparked an early passion for hands-on creation. This enthusiasm, combined with my love and respect for the outdoors, drives my desire to build structures thoughtfully, efficiently and with great care to the surrounding environment. My advanced high school coursework, design and construction projects, leadership roles and work experience have all prepared me for the next step. I am eager and ready to embrace new learning challenges in pursuit of a building construction science professional degree.

Favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus has got to be the Sanderson Center. I really enjoy the ability to get in a free workout and play some basketball with my friends.

If you could go back and tell your high school self one thing, what would it be?

If I could go back and tell my high school self something it would be to hang out with my friends more often because I will never get to see some of them again.

These are a few of my favorite things...

A few of my favorite things are hunting, pickleball and, really, just sports in general. I also enjoy hanging out with friends outdoors. I love camping.
