DEAD WORLD
My work can be divided into two core foundations, my process and my family. My process is a combination of rough lines, bright colors, bold figures and collage. I aim to create an amalgam of mythological, classical and graphic styles. Bright colors highlight vivid landscapes and broody backgrounds. Elements of collage are either scattered groupings or structural parts of my paintings. Mythology, comics and religious iconography are huge elements of my worldbuilding process. In addition, my family acts as representative inspiration within my work. I was raised by my mother and with my two siblings. My father passed when I was very young and that has effected all of us. My mother is strong-willed, caring and flexible. My brother is charismatic, honest and efficient. My sister is intelligent, witty and funny. My late father was charismatic, honest and hardworking. This group of people helped make me who I am.
