The Mississippi State University School of Architecture is proud to launch its Alumni Design Awards as part of its 50th Anniversary! Our graduates have completed many amazing projects over the years that should be celebrated. Projects designed with MSU S|ARC graduates as project architects or members of the project team are eligible. For this first year, we’ll open the competition to projects completed in the past 7 years, but also have a special category for the best project done over the last 50 years as a tribute to our 50th Anniversary.
Winning projects will be recognized at the 50th Anniversary Closing Weekend - Alumni Design Awards and Beaux Arts Ball – which will be hosted in Starkville the weekend of April 5-7, 2024. More details to come!
Project Entry
Each design entry must include the "Alumni Design Award Cover Page" followed by up to 5 additional PDF pages showing the project.
PDF files should be less than 10 MB.
Entries should not contain any identifying information.
Please label the file with the project name.

Project Information
A "Project Information Form" must also be completed and submitted for each design award entry PDF that is submitted. (This file will not be seen by the jury members).
Please label the file the same as your entry followed by "info".

Project Image
We'd like to have one high resolution .jpg file representing each submission (not to exceed 3 MB). This image will be used to represent the project for awards and publicity. (Be sure you've listed the photo credit information on your "Project Information Form" above).
Please label the photo the same as your entry followed by "photo".

Payment
There is a $50 fee per entry. Be sure to list your project name when submitting fee/s, and please pay for each entry separately.

Deadline
Entries (Project PDF including the "Alumni Design Award Cover Page," Project Information Form, Project Image, and Payment) must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
