School of Architecture grateful for studio sponsorships to enhance programming

The Mississippi State University School of Architecture is excited to announce that eight studios have received $25,000 sponsorships. The studio funds help support a wide range of programming, including funding guest lectures, providing students with specialized materials for assignments, travel and food for field trips and site visits, and invited jurors for midterm and final reviews.

Both first-year studios are sponsored: Design 1-A: American Institute of Architects – Mississippi Foundation Studio and Design 2-A: Stephen and Karen Allen Site Design Studio.

“It is difficult to overstate the importance of these studio sponsorships and the other ways our alumni and allied organizations support our program,” F.L. Crane Professor and Interim Director Jassen Callender said. “I am, and believe I speak for faculty and students alike, when I say we are profoundly grateful for their support.”

Sponsored Studios include:

  • Design 1-A: American Institute of Architects – Mississippi Foundation Studio
  • Design 2-A: Stephen and Karen Allen Site Design Studio
  • Design 2-B: David and Carla Corban Foundation Synthesis Studio
