Trey Hardin (spring 2015 graphic design alumnus) recently won a Silver award in the international 2016 Graphis New Talent Competition.
Hardin’s beverage packaging, Bauer Brewery, was created in Assistant Professor Cassie Hester’s spring 2015 Intro to Print Production class.
His work is showcased in an online gallery and printed in a hardbound annual that is now available for purchase.
Five MSU classmates also received Merit Awards in the competition and are also featured in the online gallery: Joe Cain, JD Cox, Daniel Jackson, Kimberlin Singletary and Mark Slawson.
The 2016 Graphis New Talent competition received 1017 international entries, and the following distinctions were awarded:

- 176 Gold Awards
- 222 Silver Awards
- 532 Merit Awards
