A reception was held on Thursday [March 3] “Silk Unraveled: A Revealing Look at the History and Use of Silk Fabric,” an exhibit featuring objects from the university’s Historic Costume and Textiles Collection, Mississippi Entomological Museum, Lois Dowdle Cobb Museum of Archaeology, MSU Herbarium and geosciences department.
The exhibit will remain on display in the Cullis Wade Depot Gallery (second floor of the MSU Welcome Center) through March 29.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday; other times, by appointment.
