Art History I students have been working this semester with the Lois Dowdle Cobb Museum of Archeology and Derek Anderson, outreach coordinator for the museum, to research items in their collections.

Items are Ancient Egyptian, Ancient Greek, Etruscan and Ancient Roman. These items have had limited research done on them and in many cases nothing is known about them.

Students worked at the Cobb Museum to experience how to properly handle the objects and research them through a visual analysis to understand more about where they came from and how they might have been used. Their research will be given to the Cobb Institute to keep in the museum records of the objects.
