iBuild Construction Summer Camp 2019: Day 3
Day 3 consisted of the students putting exterior OSB boards onto their shooting houses. They had to measure and cut the sheathing to be the perfect size. They also had to cut a hole for a window.
Day 3 consisted of the students putting exterior OSB boards onto their shooting houses. They had to measure and cut the sheathing to be the perfect size. They also had to cut a hole for a window.
On day 2, campers finishing the framing of their shooting houses and learned about plumbing and electrical.
The students cut out sinks and cut the pipes for the hot and cold water units. They also cut wires for lighting and plugs.
On the first full day of camp, students learned how to safely uses basic construction tools such as hammers, drills, measuring tapes and skill saws.
The groups also began the process of framing their shooting house projects.
