The final step for this last project was for students to design a studio space for a specific profession including: an artist, a poet, a dancer, and a sculptor. Each student was required to design a studio space for one of these four clients. Students produced drawings explaining the interior, as well as 3-D models to explain the exterior.
This is the first step of the students’ final project. Students went on a tour of the Downtown Cotton District and practiced site documentation. Students were given a specific site to document and then return to Giles to create a physical model.
