MSU School of Architecture celebrates 50-year milestone
Established in 1973 by the Board of Trustees of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning, the first class of 16 students graduated from the MSU School of Architecture in May 1978.

Cole Arrington is a third-year architecture student from Bay Springs.
Fernandez will receive $3,000 to conduct research for Method Studio after winning its Undergraduate Research Fellowship.
I chose CAAD because I wanted a hands-on architecture school experience that doesn’t shy away from pushing the envelope. I also love the personable professors and the tight-knit community.
My favorite spot on campus is the Chapel of Memories courtyard when the fountain is on.
Architecture school is going to be very hard and very fulfilling.
CAAD at MSU allows me to integrate my passions of art, design, math, science, and history into my studio projects and research. It has been one of my biggest stepping stones into a professional career, and for that, I'm forever grateful.
