Exhibition Focus:

This year’s subject matter is inspired by the MSU Historic Costume and Textiles Collection (HCTC) operated by the School of Human Sciences in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). Through the objects in its collection, the HCTC supports the mission of the School of Human Sciences by providing a deeper understanding of the history of fashions, textiles, and clothing production.

The HCTC houses over 1500 items dating from the 19th century through the early 2000s. Objects include menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, footwear, headwear, undergarments, accessories, quilts, and textiles from cultures around the globe. To learn more about the collection or to view specific objects visit: https://www.historiccostume.msstate.edu/collection.html

The Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
