The Mississippi State University Gulf Coast Community Design Studio is collaborating with the Gulf Coast Community Foundation for an event that will include presentations by 3 Gulf Coast teams who can receive up to $4,000 each to kick-start their project ideas. Additionally, we’ll be joined by a stellar advisory panel who will be engaging the candidate project teams in meaningful dialogue around their projects:
The Panel of Speakers will include:
- Rodney Washington EdD, MS, MA, Associate Professor at University of Mississippi Medical Center, RWJF Culture of Health Leader, and Obesity and Health Disparities (OHD) PRIDE Fellow.
- Kathy Litchfield, Café Reconcile- NewOrleans
- Dasjon Jordan, Architect, Planner, and Co-founder of Roux Collaborative and MIT CoLab Fellow
