- Hello, and thank you for your interest in Mississippi State University's Department of Architecture, Art, and Design. My name is Tracie Grace Riesgo and I graduated way back in 2010 with a degree in drawing. I am doing freelance work. I do commissions like house portraits for realtors; I do pet portraits; I do children. My experience at Mississippi State was amazing. I went there because of the instructors. In fact, I didn't even start in the art department; I was lured over there by the instructors. They have such a passion for their careers and they help you grow and develop into the artist you want to become. I took sumi and I learned everything about drawing and perspectives and realism. I took undergrad Funderburg, who taught me watercolor. He was my very first watercolor instructor, and he showed me how colorful life can be. I learnt art history from Doctor Brushwald; it was amazing. I learned presentation from Lorita Gunie. I could just go on and on and on and on and tell you how amazing this program is. If you have any more questions about how my experience progressed or maybe how do you get a career now that you have a degree from Mississippi State, feel free to hit me up. I will tell you everything I have learned over the last six years. My email address is tracearts@gmail.com. I also have a Web site; that's TracieGrace.com. I live in the Nashville area now. If you have any time, you wanna get together, I am totally up for that and I would love to talk to you. Thanks, and good luck.
