Faculty


The School has maintained an excellent faculty with a diverse range of interests, philosophies, and expertise. Collectively, the faculty have received numerous grants, design awards, and other types of recognition as outlined on their web sites. Most are registered architects and many are members of the AIA. Their terminal degrees were earned at a representative cross section of institutions of higher learning including Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Columbia, Georgia Tech, Cambridge University, Syracuse, the University of Florida, and Virginia Tech. Three faculty have Ph.D. degrees. Faculty devote about 65% of their time to teaching with a normal teaching load consisting of a six-hour studio and three-hour lecture course per semester.
