BFA FINE ART THESIS EXHIBIT AND RECEPTION

This week, eight Mississippi State University senior Art students in Fine Art will exhibit their thesis body of artwork in the Department of Art Gallery in McComas Hall.

A reception honoring the students will be held on Thursday, April 3 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the Gallery, which is located in the basement floor of McComas Hall (Communication Department). Admission is free; refreshments will be served, and the public is welcomed.

"Untitled #8" will be on display through April 25 and features work by students in Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Photography concentration areas. The thesis exhibition is a capstone requirement in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program for students in the Fine Art emphasis of the Art major at M.S.U.

The "8" include Jamie Halfacre, Sean Koger, Lora Lott, Belle Naugher, Robin Perkins, Shelley Scott, Haley West, and Jeffrey Woleben.

Department of Art Gallery hours are:

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM weekdays
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday
