Today you've been called home, we will still hear your voice
We will remember your smile and we will keep you in our hearts forever
May your spirit continue to dwell in us all
and may God grant us the strength to honor your memory.

In 1991, MSU was the first School of Architecture in the US to require the purchase of a laptop computer for use in the Design Studios. Incidentally, this was Lessa's first year in charge of admissions and registration at the School of Architecture. Lessa made it a point to keep students well informed about computer issues and did everything in her power to help students purchase the costly computer. Several Alumni, students, faculty, and staff have started the Lessa Woodruff Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will help students with proven need to purchase the required laptop. To date, over $5,000 has been pledged. To make a donation to this fund, please contact Bennett Evans.
