The interdisciplinary team of Amy Crumpton, Herb Reith, Chris Cosper, and Beth Miller have been awarded a Summer Enrichment Program grant from GEAR UP Mississippi for the second year.
Extreme Design: College Edition is a weeklong program for rising 12th graders attending Mississippi public schools included in the GEAR UP program and involves intensive design, drawing, and building activities. Students will be staying in University residence halls and dining in the University Cafeteria. Immersion in the design and university culture will foster an understanding in the value of higher education in preparing for careers in architecture, art, and interior design.
The camp will be held June 10-15, 2007. For more information on the camp or on the other GEAR UP summer enrichment opportunities, click on the links below
