The Interior Design program offers the student a broad background in interior elements, materials, sources and practical experience in the business of interior design; it develops the skills of the design process to create functional, efficient and aesthetically pleasing residential and commercial interior environments for human use. The program is accredited by the The Council for Interior Design Accreditation (formerly FIDER).
Program Philosophy
The philosophy of the Interior Design Program is to educate students in the design process, which results in innovative and creative approaches to the planning and design of interior spaces. The program places emphasis on the design process and development of critical thinking skills.
Program Goals
The Interior Design faculty have established educational and professional goals for the First Professional Degree Level Program.
