Day 7: Crunch Time
Posted: June 22, 2006

It's the last full day of camp today and we start in early on yesterday's project.  With the conceptual ideas on the table, th campers should now focus on bringing together a completed design.  Using drawings and models, each camper should extract the best ideas from last night's charrette and apply them to the final design.  The rest of the day is a work day to allow each camper fully explore all possiblities of relationships between space, site , representation and building form.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later this evening when studio work has died down we will have a small end of camp party in the studio for the campers.  It will feature The Persians., a popular band of talented musicians that play the local Starkville bar scene.  Pizza will be the entree of the evening while the campers enjoy a not so quite evening at "the Barn."

    Film Series:

Tonight following the live entertainment, we once again venture into the auditorium for one last movie night.  The film this evening will be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.   This film staring Jim Carrey, looks at a what happens when one tries to forget something but in the process realizes what was worth remembering.
