The School of Architecture offers a minor in architectural studies. The minor consists of 18 credit hours of courses with an ARC prefix. Students must take ARC 1013 Architecture Appreciation. Additional courses without instructor approval are: ARC 2313 History of Architecture I; ARC 3313 History of Architecture II; ARC 3323 History of Architecture Ill; ARC 4313 Architectural Theory; ARC 2713 Passive Building Systems; and ARC 4733 Site Planning. Also available but requiring instructor approval are ARC 2723 Materials; ARC 3713 Assemblages; ARC 3723 Active Building Systems; ARC 3573 The Art/Architecture of Packaging; and ARC 4990 Special Topics courses which vary.
