Design Philosophy
Design is ubiquitous. It affects you every day in every way. Everything you see, touch, hear, and use, except nature, is designed by someone.
Design is experienced in all the details of a space, program, or product. It is not just the veneer, or the look. The quality of the design and the process becomes apparent in how the space, product or program supports the needs of every person, every need, every time
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that the key to a good education is developing a passion for lifelong learning. Whether I am teaching a group of college freshman or people who have been in the workforce for more than 20 years, the key message is that what you learn today will be the foundation for what you will need to learn tomorrow to stay competitive. My job is to show them how to get information when they need it and help to build a foundation and a passion for future learning.
