Galleries
As of spring 2008, many additions have been made to our gallery system. With the opening of the new Colvard Student Union, a new gallery opened on the second floor which has already housed shows by national artists as well as students and faculty. The main gallery is located in McComas Hall and houses work for the Student Thesis show and the Collegiate show at their respective times during the semester. Another gallery is located above the Architecture library in Giles Hall and has shown Japanese ink drawings and modern art.
Department of Art Gallery 2008 – 2009
The Department of Art Gallery is located in Room 30, on the basement floor of McComas Hall on the Mississippi State University Campus. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
